Rosemary (V-Neckline Edition)

I created a variation of the Rosemary dress in Pink Carnation for the Shine charity event taking place right now. All proceeds from the sales of Rosemary in Pink Carnation go to Medecins Sans Frontieres.

Then Tesla showed me her new Natasha Stilettos, and I decided I had to make it in more colours to match... so here they are... Wild Cherry, Butter Rum, Licorice and Wintermint.

I think they're perfect for holiday cocktail parties and hope you agree!

The Far Away

My first ever magazine ad came out today in Second Style magazine, and I'd like to take a moment to thank the wonderful AM Radio for allowing me to shoot the picture for the advertisement at The Far Away. He has truly created a thing of beauty. If you haven't already discovered The Far Away, I assure you it is well worth the visit. You can also pick up your own plot of wheat while there and all proceeds go to the charity, Heifer.org.

and a Wee Freebie.....

I decided while putting this outfit together yesterday that it needed a pin.  I just love pink and red together. :)  I've put it out at my shop in Mangakino as a little freebie for anyone who would like to stop by and pick up a copy.  Of course, the lovely millinery confection that it matches can be purchased at Chapeau tres Mignon.

New Pinup Hair!

I've been working on more hair and here are the first two. When it comes to making hair, sometimes I have a very definite image in mind of what I want to make when I start... like the Marilyn and it all goes very quickly. Then there are times like today when I just kind of start playing to see what will come out... like with these two styles. The first one I am calling Boogie Woogie. You'll notice that it is fairly similar to The Grable with the main difference being that this one has more va va voom (for want of a better word). It's for the retro gal that wants attention getting reverse rolls and a bumper bang look. I'm very happy with how it came out..but as I mentioned, it's pretty close to The Grable. Which brings me to the decision I'm trying to make... should I discontinue The Grable? I'd love to hear your opinions. :) Anyway, here it is....

Boogie Woogie

and the Deco Doll, another attention getter. This time with reverse rolls and a sophisticated twisted bun at the nape of the neck.
