Ingenue

First up is a 1940’s inspired evening dress in gold lame and white silk shantung.  The inspiration for this was from a dress I made out of the same fabric in RL from a 1940’s pattern.  I changed the top quite a bit in this version, but I think it has the same 1940’s look.

… and hair!  I’ve been planning to do this forever…. It’s my RL hair done for SL. :)  An updo version coming most likely tomorrow.

Next up is Femme Fatale, a 1940’s inspired cocktail dress in navy and pink…

And lastly, Hi Ya Love has undergone some changes. The set now includes sculptie prim puffed sleeves and matching shoes!

The other day Elka Lehane contacted me after seeing the maryjanes I was wearing in the Ingenuette ad.  Unfortunately, the shoes were a ripoff of ones she had made quite some time ago.  Instead of just letting it go, Elka decided to fight by making a new version of hers… patent and colour changing and was kind enough to drop a pair on me.  And this isn’t your everyday colour changing either…. You can change each part separately… sole, vinyl, leather and metal.  But enough with the high tech scripting stuff, the best part about these is that they are totally, completely, deliciously cute!!!  Here’s a pic of me wearing them in Ingenue colours… they are perfect with the Ingenuette freebie.

I am unfortunately, being amazingly lazy right now about tping to get the slurl for her shop, but just search for her and look in her picks.

Ok… finally figured out why the picture wouldn’t upload. Wish they would just give you a message telling you that certain symbols in your file name don’t work instead of giving you no message at all or an odd jumbled nonsense error message!

It’s been a very busy and good couple of days around Ingenue! I was reviewed by Daisyblue on Linden Lifestyles and Tenshi of Shopping Cart Disco! I really couldn’t be more thrilled. It has come to my attention that Ingenue may be a little hard to find…. for now it’s on the second floor of the Caledon VictoriaCity shop…take the teleporter up. It’s right by the front door. I am searching for a good place that allows a direct tp though! So, hopefully, it will be easier to find me soon. I can also be found at PinUps Gentleman’s Club, Paradise Ballroom in their Bon Marche boutique, and Nick’s Cave. Landmarks can be found in my picks.

ok… first off, this is my very first blog and my very first blog post. I am generally horrible at this kind of thing, so please bare with me as I figure this blogging thing out and get it looking all purdy and stuff. I’m not big on writing about myself, so it’ll probably mostly be pictures of new releases, but hey…that’s what I go to SL designer’s blogs for anyway for the most part, so I figure that is probably why you are here too. My Second Life adventures certainly aren’t gripping reading material as I spend most of my time in my skybox! (working )
